Work in Progress

Now that I'm becoming comfortable with the beginning stages of a painting, particularly blocking in paintings with color to the point where they become visually legible, it's time to move in and start taking those hazy images and refining them and seeing how far I can take them to the next step. Here is a work in progress, you can observe my method as I continue to post works in progress so you can see it from a fairly unfinished piece to something more finalized. The choice of the industrial image is pretty important as my senior film will be taking place in a steel mill, so expect to see many more industrial paintings as I familiarize myself with the environments appropriate for my film.
